Yoga and therapy?

According to Yoga Alliance, Yoga was developed up to 5,000 years ago in India as a comprehensive system for wellbeing on all levels:

Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual

It is a process of discipline in which ones thought’s and body are gradually brought under control.

While there are many different branches of yoga I will be offering the use of Hatha Yoga in the beginning and end of the session if you so choose.

Yoga is a practice that focuses on uniting the mind and body.

Many studies have demonstrated that a regular yoga practice will:
• decrease symptoms of depression
• decrease symptoms of anxiety
• increase sleep quality in older adults
• lower levels of cortisol (the stress hormone)
• improved symptoms of patients with clinically diagnosed migraines
• reduce stress
